Building Relationships. Strengthening Trust. Putting Families First.

Meet Keith

As a lifelong resident of Madison County and a proud product of our school system, I am excited to announce my candidacy for Superintendent of Madison County Schools. I attended Monrovia Elementary, Monrovia Middle, and Sparkman High before earning my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2006. I later earned my Master’s in Educational Leadership from Samford University in 2010, preparing me for nearly two decades of service in public education.

Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to the success of our students, educators, and families. I have served as Assistant Principal and Principal of Legacy Elementary, Supervisor of Student Services for Madison County Schools, and most recently, Principal of Monrovia Middle School. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of the needs of our schools and the importance of strong leadership in creating an environment where students and teachers can thrive.

I am running for Superintendent because I believe in the power of education to change lives. My vision for Madison County Schools is built on three core values: building strong relationships, fostering open and positive communication, and keeping our focus on families. I also believe that trust is the foundation of progress, and I am committed to restoring and strengthening that trust within our school system.

My leadership style is transformational, data-driven, and student-focused. I believe every child can succeed, and it is our responsibility as educators and leaders to provide them with the tools and opportunities to reach their full potential. I also believe in developing future leaders by empowering teachers, staff, and administrators to grow and excel.

Madison County is more than just where I work—it’s my home. My wife and I are both proud graduates of Madison County Schools, and we are now raising our two sons in this district—one at Sparkman Ninth Grade School and the other at Sparkman High. I am deeply invested in the future of our schools, not just as an educator, but as a parent and community member.

I look forward to meeting with voters, listening to your concerns, and sharing my vision for the future of Madison County Schools. I would be honored to have your support in this election. Together, we can build a stronger, more successful school system for our students, teachers, and families.
